“The cARToon Show”
Cartoons are largely seen as a critical yet comical barometer of a culture. Drawn here are edgy characters with relevance and intelligence. They are a modern homage to the self-made hero, circulating rumors, fraught with irony, from beginning to end. The release of the wit as an expressive and cathartic modality takes shape in the “short”, the “funny”, the “political” and the “caricature”. Each panel speaks of freedom of expression as a universal right. Unite in laughter and support of this comic relief.
